AOL Drawing in Progress

Was there a better moment in the visual history of the Internet than the America Online homepage of the mid 90s? It was like the entire web-o-sphere could be broken down into a few portals, easily labeled by fancifully styled text and graphics. Maybe Google would be wise to take a page out of the AOL playbook!   Using markers and colored pencils on paper, I recreated AOL '95. The funnest part to do was the script 'Online' in the top left logo. Also the 'Main Menu' text and navy blue bar.
